Power Washing

Powerwashing_GraphicMany people have heard the term "soft washing" when it refers to power washing the exterior of their home.  But what does that mean?  The term "Soft Wash" was coined by AC Lockyear with his knowledge and experience in plant sciences. AC knew that the bacteria, molds, fungus and algae growing on the exterior of buildings were more closely associated with an infection than a stain.  Thus he developed his process called soft wash.  It primarily involves the use of specially designed solutions, and a low pressure, but high volume of water to clean the surfaces.  In this way, the solutions do all the work, and the water does nothing more than rinse.  Over time, this term became popular with Power washers as an alternative to the traditional low volume, high pressure systems of the past.  The truth is ... you need both systems to properly clean your exteriors.

Newly Restored realizes that no two facilities are the same.  Either the surface will need a simple cleaning, or require more aggreessive measures.  Knowing which application to use is where we can make the difference between a great experience and a poor one.  Our system uses both a low pressure, high volume process that will surgically remove the dirt, algea, and mold growth on the sensitive areas of your home or building or a low volume, high pressure system to power through any soils on harder, more sustainable surfaces such as concrete, brick, and stone.
